Describe your first pony
I learned to ride on various school ponies in Singapore. The first horse I properly owned, was Links Hot Gossip, an Australian thoroughbred who won the individual gold medal at the Singapore Youth Olympic Games in 2010. I really learned how to ride thanks to him, as he was very spooky, and used to find any excuse to buck me off!
Describe your riding history/achievements
I am a Sir Edmund Hillary Scholar at the University of Waikato, studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology. I started riding competitively in Singapore when I was 10 years old, and have gone on to represent Singapore at several international Junior and Young Rider events.
I moved to New Zealand with my family in 2014 to pursue my career with horses, and I compete successfully in the ESNZ Young Rider & Grand Prix series, and have just stepped up to World Cup this season.
What are your ambitions?
To continue riding as a career and buy, train and sell successful showjumping horses. Also to coach up and coming young riders.
What do you require from your horse feed?
Many people over-feed their horses and are not actually sure what they are feeding them or how it is being digested. Pryde's is a simple, high quality & complete feed, and ensures our horses get a well balanced diet. We can also tell by the incredible condition of our horses that it is digested and utilised very well. Having a dependable feed like Pryde's is crucial when competing at the top level to ensure the consistent, optimum performance of your team mate.
